What languages do you offer voiceovers in? +
I specialise in Indian English voice-overs, delivered in a neutral Indian-English accent — also described as an International English accent. I work exclusively in English and do not record in other Indian languages.
Will your accent work for a US, UK, or international audience? +
Yes — that's the point of a neutral accent. I grew up in Chennai speaking English at home and consuming English-language media, which left me with a distinctly Indian voice but very little regional colour. It's immediately recognisable as Indian, but it doesn't carry the strong retroflex or tonal markers that can distract listeners unfamiliar with South Asian accents. Clients across the US, UK, Europe, Singapore, and the Middle East have used my recordings without issue. If you're unsure, request a free audition — I'll record a short excerpt of your script and you can judge for yourself.
What is your typical turnaround time? +
I aim to deliver most projects within 24 to 48 hours on working days, though this can vary with script length and workload. I've turned urgent jobs around in under an hour — so please reach out first and mention your deadline clearly.
Do you have your own studio setup? +
Yes. My home studio is acoustically treated for low reverberation and external noise. It runs an Audio-Technica AT4040 into a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 (3rd gen), recording in Adobe Audition CC. I master with plugins from Waves, Tokyo Dawn Records, Supertone, Focusrite and Adobe to deliver a clean, broadcast-ready WAV.
Where are you from? +
I'm Indian, and I've lived and worked out of Chennai for most of my life. Most call it hot and hard to get used to — I love it here.
Can you work with clients outside of Chennai? +
Absolutely. My home studio lets me work remotely and deliver worldwide. I've voiced projects for clients across India and in New York, London, San Francisco and Prague — around 20 countries in all. Wherever you are, I can deliver.
What are your rates for voice over projects? +
Rates depend on the project's scope, usage and licensing. Every quote includes broadcast-quality audio from my professional home studio. Send me your script and intended usage, and I'll give you a clear, fair quote.
How are your voice-over files delivered? +
You can download finished files via Dropbox, WeTransfer, Google Drive or Microsoft OneDrive. I prefer these over email attachments so delivery stays reliable, fast and out of spam folders.
What are your payment terms? +
I take a 50% advance before starting and the remaining 50% before delivery. Payment by bank transfer or UPI. For first-time clients, I ask for 100% upfront.
Do you offer retakes and revisions? +
Any errors on my part are fixed at no extra charge. Corrections or script changes from the client or agency may be chargeable as extra.
Can you do remote directed sessions? +
Yes, I'm happy to do directed sessions via Zoom, Skype or Google Meet. Just mention this when you get in touch and we'll schedule a time that works across time zones.
What file format will I receive? +
Standard delivery is a 24-bit WAV at 48 kHz (or 44.1 kHz). If you need MP3, a specific loudness target (e.g., -16 LUFS for podcasts), or any other spec, just mention it with your order.
Do you provide free auditions? +
Yes — I offer a free audition of your actual script (a short excerpt) before you commit. Just send me the script and I'll record a sample so you can hear exactly how it will sound.
