I grew up in Chennai with English at home and in the media around me, which left me with a distinctly Indian voice that carries little regional colour — and none of the performance of a faked foreign accent. How pricing works
For shorter pieces I price by the total word count; for more comprehensive projects, by the finished hour of audio. Because neutral-English work is often aimed at international audiences, usage plays a part too — a global-reach piece is a different product from an internal one.
