Two ways I price it.

For shorter pieces I price by the total word count; for more comprehensive projects, by the finished hour of audio. Because neutral-English work is often aimed at international audiences, usage plays a part too — a global-reach piece is a different product from an internal one.

What exactly is a “neutral” Indian-English accent?
It’s educated, urban Indian-English with very little regional colour. It reads as clearly Indian, but it doesn’t carry the strong markers that can place a voice to one region or distract a listener who isn’t used to South Asian accents. Is this an American or British accent?
No, and deliberately so. I don’t imitate an American or British accent — a forced foreign accent tends to sound exactly that. What I offer is a genuine, neutral Indian-English voice that happens to travel well, which is more authentic and more reliable than a put-on one.
