My name is Susheel, and I am an English-language voice over artist based in Chennai, India. This is my personal portfolio website at https://www.indianvoiceartist.com.
This site is a static website. There are no user accounts, no comment system, and no logins. The only way your personal data reaches me is if you fill in the contact form or send an email directly.

What data I collect
Contact enquiries
When you use the contact form or email me directly, I receive your name, email address, and any message content you choose to send. I use this information solely to respond to your enquiry. I do not add you to any mailing list without your explicit permission.
Analytics data
If you consent to analytics cookies (via the banner shown on your first visit), this site uses Google Analytics 4 to collect anonymised data about how visitors use the site — including pages visited, time spent, general geographic region (country/city level), device type, and browser. This helps me understand how the site is used and improve its content.
Google Analytics data is associated with a random identifier assigned to your browser. It is not linked to your name or email address. Your IP address is anonymised before being stored.
You can withdraw your analytics consent at any time by clicking “Cookie Settings” in the footer.
This site also uses Ahrefs Analytics, a cookieless analytics tool that does not store any cookies and does not process personally identifiable information. It operates without requiring consent.
Server logs
Like all web servers, the server hosting this site automatically records standard access logs (IP address, page requested, browser type, referrer). These logs are used for security and uptime monitoring and are not used for tracking or profiling.
Cookies
This site sets a localStorage entry called cookie_consent to remember whether you have accepted or declined analytics. Google Analytics cookies (_ga, _ga_*) are only set if you accept. Ahrefs Analytics sets no cookies.

Google Analytics data may be transferred to and processed in the United States under Google’s standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data I hold about you
- Rectify inaccurate data
- Erase your data (“right to be forgotten”)
- Object to processing
- Withdraw consent for analytics at any time (use “Cookie Settings” in the footer)
If you are in India, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA) additionally gives you the right to:
- Obtain a summary of the personal data I hold about you and how it is processed
- Correct, complete, update, or erase your personal data
- Grievance redressal through the Grievance Officer named below
- Nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of your death or incapacity

If you are in the EU/EEA, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. If you are in India, you may raise a complaint with the Data Protection Board of India once it is constituted under the DPDPA.
Data retention
Contact enquiry emails are retained for as long as they are relevant to an ongoing business relationship and then deleted.
Google Analytics data is retained for 14 months, after which it is automatically deleted from Google’s systems. You can opt out of Google Analytics entirely using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Security
This site is served over HTTPS. Contact enquiries are received via email, which is subject to standard email security practices.
Children’s privacy
This site is not directed at children under 13. I do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Grievance Officer
As the sole operator of this site, I also act as the Grievance Officer for the purposes of the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

Governing law
This policy is governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from it are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
